Brooklyn is the most populous suburb of New York, with an estimated 2.5 million residents. Before Brooklyn became a global brand, it was a working-class community full of ethnic groups from around the world. But by the turn of the 21st century, it had become a go-to place for artists and hipsters, attracting tech startups and entrepreneurs. The most famous and prominent neighborhood in Brooklyn is undoubtedly Williamsburg. Since the late 1990s, “Little Berlin,” as it’s often called, has undergone a massive urbanization process characterized by hipster culture, a thriving art scene, and a vibrant nightlife.
For those looking to explore the Brooklyn and Williamsburg neighborhoods, we’ve compared different car rental companies for a variety of factors, such as opening hours, available vehicles and daily rates. Here are some of our favorites.
